Interesting Essay Questions
A lot of schools have released their deadlines by now. Some interesting questions the schools have asked:

What would you do if you did not have to work for a living?
Describe a significant maturing experience.

You have been asked to write an editorial about the most pressing issue facing humanity. Please identify the issue and justify why you have selected it
What book, play, or movie would you recommend to the admissions committee? Why
Why MBA ? Why now and why this school ? , Describe a leadership moment, Describe a failure moment - are fundamental questions that all schools will ask The above are just to highlight the creativity attempts of the ad-com to get to know the 'person' more than the 'professional' in you.
It will be an interesting experience to answer these in relation to the other subject matter that we present to the ad-com.

Of the schools i've seen - London and Harvard are just plain business questions :)

hi
i just came accross "Think Without Ink" book by K.Venkataraman cuz after ur comment even i analysed my aptitude n maths was hopelessly low score.
Its a very good book for quant of any - gmat, gre, daily life, cat etc etc... just wanted u to tell - Do read it !
